Ensure the Future of Tanzanian Art: Help Us Bring the 4th Annual Bwagamoyo Africulture Summer Arts Festival to Life Again.

Each year, the Bwagamoyo Africulture Summer Arts Festival pulses with the rhythm, color, and spirit of Tanzania. Now in its fourth year, this festival is more than a celebration—it is a living archive, a vital space for local artists, musicians, dancers, and makers to share their stories and shape the future of Tanzanian cultural preservation.

At a time when global arts spaces often overlook the richness of East African expression, Bwagamoyo Africulture stands firm in its mission: to collect, celebrate, and sustain Tanzanian art and culture by being a home for artists and communities.

Vanga is a traditional Swahili dance. Vanga is performed here in 2022 by Bwagamoyo Agriculture.
